It’s not really a room, but hey, who cares? What’s not to love about this photo?
I have a very good excuse for this short post, my “blog time” today was spent on giving this blog a new look. What do you think, dear readers?

With the popularity of metal decor and my recent experiences I thought it would be useful to write this post. Yes, vinegar is an EXCELLENT rust remover. The best thing is that you have it in your home, it’s cheap and simple to work with.
It is ideal to submerge the rusty object in vinegar and wait for about 30 mins or more, depending on the amount of rust. If the object is large dab vinegar on. After successful cleaning, make sure to dry thoroughly.
General note: Be careful while working with rusty old metals and such. In case of any cut or wound contact your doctor to check if you need a tetanus shot.

1. Take the mirror off the wall and put it on the floor. Looks way better.
2. Add hooks to your kitchen wall and display cool cooking utensils.
3. Accessorize coffee table with books, candles, vases…
4. Be creative with placing plants.
5. Display sunglasses in a cool way.
6. Add color without breaking the bank – using fabrics.

As much as I try to cover some topic, trend or apartment/house in my posts, from time to time I stumble upon a photo of interior that makes me think “Wow!” and it doesn’t really fit in some topic. For such occasions, I will have these “Room of the Day” posts.
Speaking of this room of the day, usually I’m not a fan of wooden walls. I love wood, but sometimes it’s just too much. That is why I wanted to share this room – I think those walls are absolutely stunning and so is everything in the room. I love the diversity of colours and furniture.

When it comes to interiors, I like different styles, especially mixed up together. That is why I wanted to share this apartment owned by photographer and interior designer Benedikte Ugland.
In these 85 square meters you’ll find old and new furniture, industrial, vintage and shabby chic details, plenty of black colour(which is a bold move) and even a touch of Morocco. All this is so well incorporated, leaving an impression of harmony and unified space.
Kitchen with industrial details.
Black may not be the most popular colour for children’s room, although I don’t know why – this floor and all together looks so lovely.
Moroccan tiles, brass plumbing fixtures, that brown vintage mirror… Wow.
